The legend of Feringale, the city of water, (again from my book) where The Queen of Feringale falls in love with Ayaik, The shapeshifter Prince from Ereil, a land far from her own.He leaves her, and the broken hearted Queen eventually hunts him down, and murders him using her scepter, which later on came to be known as The Kadane, the soul trapper, in which she captured hundreds of souls, including Ayaiks. Its dark power can only be used by descendants of the royal Feringale line.
